Before you send a cel
What if you don’t find the frame?
You pay nothing. We email you to say what we searched, and your photos are deleted 30 days later.
What do I get for $19?
A report with its own number, like PB-SKQN-GYFQ. Its page shows the scene playing and your cel landing on its drawing, with the film’s frame beside your photo. It comes with a picture sized for listing photos and a card or player you can embed on your own website. See a sample report.
When do I pay?
Only after we’ve found the scene. You’ll see a preview of the frame on your orders page, then pay by card through Stripe. Pegbar never sees your card number.
Who can see my report?
Anyone you give its number or link to, the way a grading certificate can be looked up. It’s listed in Pegbar’s public gallery only if you ask for that when you send the cel.
Is a report an authentication?
No. A report shows that the drawing on your cel matches a frame of the film. It doesn’t say the cel itself is a production original, or what it’s worth. Our collector’s guide covers what else to look at.
Can I get a refund?
If we ever withdraw a report because it’s wrong, we refund it in full. For anything else, get in touch; the terms have the details.
